We are an Exchange 2007 shop slowly moving to Exchange 2010. My question is around Outlook 2003 clients after we move their mailbox to Exchange 2010.
If I move the Address Book to a Exchange 2010 generation folder, will it automatically create a public folder database for Outlook 2003 clients to connect to or do I have to manually create it?
If I choose to turn off 'Enable Public Folder Distribution' when the Offline Address Book is moved to a Exchange 2010 server, will Outlook 2003 clients still be able to view the GAL when connected to the Exchange server? My understanding is yes, they just would not have a OFFLINE address book. Apologies if this is a dumb question.
Appreciate any feedback, I've dug through a handful of webpages and they all just say how to move the address book generation to a 2010 server but haven't found anything that really talks about supporting Offline Address Book for Outlook 2003 clients.
