We are running two exchange server 2010 in a DAG on a windows 2008 R2. Both servers are used as CAS/HUB/Mailbox with 4 databases. The problem is, that we need more diskspace for our databases. I already added a new disk with more space to both server, but we need to move the databases and logfiles.
My plan was to suspend all databases on one server. Then copy all files to the new partition. Once this is done i want to swap the driveletters and resume the databases.
Has anyone done this before? Will the sync between both mailboxserver still work, even if the harddisks have a different size?
