Recently migrated our server from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 Std. Everything is working fine, with the exception of getting the security alert on our local network. We getnewmail.domain.local as the name of the cert with a green check for 'The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority.' and 'The security certificate date is valid' but a red x for 'The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site.' The name newmail.domain.local is the name of the new server.
The public SSL certificate was exported from 2007 and imported to 2010 and seems to be working fine. I've checked with testexchangeconnectivity.com and just by browsing to the site.
Does this have something to do with the self-signed cert?
