Exchange Receive connector

Hi All,

I have a custom receive connector created for applications to relay emails.

All the distribution groups are set to "accept mail from authenticated users only". How ever, we could see that mails relayed though the receive connector is allowing mails and getting delivered to the groups even-though "accept mail from authenticated users only" is set to true. Is this the default behavior?
