i know there're similarly topics about this, but it could not satisfy me :)
We're running Exchange server 2007 SP2, with outlook 2010.
quite frequently it happens when users move folders within the shared mailbox, the folder is not visible for the users at the new location. However, when i attach the shared mailbox in my outlook, or from an admin account, the folder is visible in the
new location.
untill now i fixed this always by deleting the outlook.conf, causing to reconfigure the outlook account, re-add the shared mailboxes, resync all the mail in the mailboxes, and re-index the mailboxes. but this takes a long time for the users, and especcially the indexing has a performance impact on the users computer.
the users have full access permissions on the shared mailboxes.
1. what is causing this , so that the folders are not visible, even with full access permissions?
2. how can i fix this, without deleting the outlook.conf and thus minimizing the impact for the supportdesk and users.
