I foolishly installed Windows Management Framework 3.0 during our last patch cycle on our Exchange 2010 servers (Single site, 2 multi-role servers in a DAG, Exchange 2010 SP2 RU-5v2). Since then I've uninstalled KB2506143 on one of my servers while the other is still running my databases. After uninstalling powershell 3.0, my databases won't sync with the other server. The copy status is Disconnected and Resynchronizing. I've some people have said that they had to also uninstall .net 4 to fix the issue. Can anyone point me to instructions on correctly recovering the Exchange servers after installing WMF 3? Is uninstalling .net 4 required? And if so, does it automatically rollback to 3.5 or do I have to reinstall .net 3.5?
