| 2 front end servers, 2 back end mailbox servers. All servers are Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Enterprise 14.2.247.5 EMC stopped working with the following error on the front end servers
EMS timed out on connections to the CAS Servers and connected to the MBX Servers. Tried an IISreset No good. Tried the following fixes http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2010/02/04/3409289.aspx Tried the Exchange Troubleshooter http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2010/12/07/3411644.aspx No issues showed up. EMC will not open, same error EMS will open if I use the -allowclobber switch Connect-ExchangeServer -ServerFQDN "casumhubxx.domain.local" –AllowClobber Did all fixes as per the http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2010/02/04/3409289.aspx leaving each fix in place, and I got the the EMS to work no problem, but not the EMC. Going back over everything again. No events in the logs about it at all. No updates, patches or changes have being made to the servers in the last 7 weeks other than the current trouble shooting. |
