Retention Period for Tasks

We are using Exchange 2010 SP2 Rollup 5 v2. I have a retention policy set to delete everything older than 6 months for everything and a 5 day retention period for deleted items. We have some people who are loosing tasks that are over 6 months old. I assume this is due to Rollup 4 that now provides support for Calendars and Tasks.

I set up a retention policy tag for 730 days (2 years). I then applied the policy tag to my Corporate retention policy. Everything appears to have went OK. My question is how do I tell if it applied to my Tasks folder? When you pull up a Task it doesn't tell you when it expires. Is there a way to tell if its working via command shell etc.

I would also like to be able to click on a task and find out when it is due to expire. I added the file creation date to my view, perhaps I go two years from that date. I don't know. Any insight would help. I have read all the articles but none mention anything about how to tell if its working or when an item expires.
