Access Shared Mailbox Online Archive without Automapping

Hi,

We have a number of shared mailboxes that our users access and we want to enable Online archiving on a number of them.

We use groups to control access to these shared mailboxes. We use groups becuase we want lots of different (often non technical) users to have control over who can access mailboxes. We also don't necessarily want all mailboxes that a user has access to, to be cached on every machine they use. Which it would be if the user was added directly to the mailbox, courtesy of Exchange 2010, msExchDelegateListLink attribute. (Which I know is suppresable but the groups solution fits both needs).

In order to access the mailboxes the users go to File -> Account Settings -> Account Settings -> Double click profile name -> More Settings -> Advanced -> Add and Add the appropriate mailbox. (Using Outlook 2010)

However this does not add the Archive mailbox to the users profile, only the primary mailbox. Does anyone know if it is possible to add an archive mailbox when accessing a shared mailbox in this way, i.e. not using the Exchange 2010 automapping?

Many Thanks,

Mark Needham
