All,
The customer site has two sites where in site A, there are two CAS/HUB/MBX servers, and site B has one CAS/HUB/MBX server.
Only one DAG is in place, and it is a single namespace configuration.
Each site has its own CASArray value of MAIL-HQ.contoso.com for site A and MAIL-DDC.contoso.com for site B.
All works though Outlook doesn't connect, and it makes me wonder if the correct URL's are in place.
Frankly, I've read so much, my eyes are crossed and just need some confirmation.
As I said, Outlook doesn't connect after the full site failover, which implies a DNS change has to be made to the site A HLB VIP which points to the CASArray, so that it points to site B, though Outlook doesn't connect.
Note that after the servers were setup, the internal URLs for each server's OWA/ECP/EWSEAS/OAB/ & autodiscoverURI each point to the servers themselves (this is where I think the problem lays).
Here is my question: Should the internal URLs that are currently assigned to each server be changed to the same URL of MAIL-HQ.contoso.com? This is what the CASArray is, though having them all on the same seems to make sense, though someone told me that this would through the Outlook clients into a loop.
Thanks,
Christian
