failed database copy cant mount need help

I have a DAG, 1 physical and 1 virtual DB servers.

the virtual db server had an issue where the drive lost its formatting because the vm moved to another host and the new host didnt recognize the new size of the drive( i had expanded the drive a couple days earlier for DB)

now i tried to mount the db on that VM and it wont let it mount, saying it cant find the drive sector, but all the information is there on the D drive i see it now( i had to remove and readd the drive to windows and rescan the hba's on the vm host).

i have a database copy on the physical server but it wont let me mount it on there, it says the copy status is disconnected and resynchronizing. when i try to activate this copy on the physical server it says

"the database action failed, error: db1 on server b has content index catalog files in the following state: failed"

and it wont let me activate it.

note that the db is not currently mounted on any server, since it wont mount on the original VM db server.

i think that vm DB is not going to be mountable as something must've happened with the drive and lost data somewhere, but i would like to mount the copy that i have on the physical server. i dont care if its behind (copy queue length is 8 right now).

any help would be appreciated.

thanks.
