There are several posts in this forum regarding remote domains and updating the message format to Never Use rich-text. I'm curious if anyone has experienced any negative effects from making this change? Here's the issue that we're experiencing:
We have a secure email server (Tumbleweed) that is routed messages based upon a user inputting a specific sting into the subject. On several occasions we've heard reports of the recipients not getting the appropriate attachments, rather they get
the famed "winmail.dat". Rather than forcing our entire user population to ensure they aren't sending secure messages in rich-text, it would be great if we could do this from the server level. I'm a little hesitant to make this change on the HT
for fear people may then start complaining of formatting issues. Has anyone else run into a similar issue. If so, how did you address.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
