I have a 2003 domain/forest with 4 domain controllers. We added a new 2012 domain controller and it promoted just fine. We left the functional level as 2003. We noticed after the 2012 domain controller rebooted that our exchange 2010 server on a 2008 R2 box stop working.
Seems there is a service hanging, that causes network services to fail. Working with microsoft they had me stop all the exchange services, but I'm still waiting for my ticket to get picked up again as the first scope was issues with the server and internet.
Anyone run into this. We didn't move the master roles to the new AD and haven't done anything but just add it as a domain controller to our forest.
Any ideas on where to start?
