Hoping you all can help me. All of the sudden a rash of random OFC 2010 users on Windows XP computers keep getting prompted for username/password. ex. Open an email, prompt. Hit send, prompt. Putting a check mark in the remember my credentials box only brings the same prompt back over and over. AD user/pass is good and not expired. Happens on multiple machines for multiple users, the common denominator is Windows XP and OFC 2010.
- Tried deleting and creating new local email profiles.
- Reboot of course. :-)
- Uninstall/Re-install Office 2010 Professional
- Since user's are not locally authenticated, the steps to remove saved credentials under CP>Users doesn't apply.
- All users, those with and without the problem, are all working in Cached mode but disabling that doesn't seem to change things.
I don't work on our exchange team but rather I am the guy all the users call and complain too. While my resources are vast, I would like to help those who can fix this issue, do so, sooner rather than later. Ideas?
